WINSTON IBRAHIM BARNABAS
Mr. Winston Ibrahim Barnabas is a Senior Associate Legal Officer at RightMark Attorneys, stationed at the Head Office in Mwanza since 2022. He brings a strong commitment to contemporary legal practice with a focus on emerging and evolving legal issues in Tanzania and beyond.
Education
He attained his Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) from the University of Dodoma (UDOM) in 2022. He joined the Law School of Tanzania in 2024 and is currently pending admission to the Bar as an Advocate of the High Court and Subordinate Courts thereto.
Experience
Mr. Barnabas joined RightMark Attorneys in 2022 as a Legal Consultant and was promoted to Senior Associate Legal Officer in 2023. During his time at the firm, he has:
- Participated in nationwide legal aid assessments through KIIs, FGDs, and policy reviews.
- Represented clients in complex land and corporate disputes, including matters related to execution, conveyance, and third-party interests.
- Assisted in the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements, NDAs, and collaborative legal instruments for corporate clients.
- Provided advisory services on company structuring, regulatory compliance, tax law, and employment matters.
- Played a key role in developing legal strategies for community outreach, gender equity forums, and legal literacy projects under the firm’s CSR initiatives.
